I just wanted to look something up in TSref and instead of taking the usual way of calling up my bookmark I took the way through the TER and then switching to the documentation page.

In the next step I wanted to click the references link when I noticed that the page looked different then before I took a closer look. The difference was that it is know very well structured from the basics to the more advanced topics like extension programming.

After I looked up the thing I wanted to know I checked the newsgroups and found a post from Sebastian telling that he with the help of others restructured the page.

They did a great job! The thing I like about the new structure is that it will make it easier for new users to find the information they're looking for and thus enabling them to communicate. When I started to work with TYPO3 I was very much overwhelmed by the sheer amount of documentation that was available. The problem was not that there was no documentation but that I didn't know with which document to start with. I think that the restructured page will help with that a lot.
